I began my sewing career  from home when my children were very young. Pretty soon I had so much work that I needed a shop to work from. The Wanganui store opened in 1988, and has grown so fast I now employ three fulltime seamstresses. Due to customer demand I opened another store in Palmerston North in 2001, followed by a Wellington branch in 2006. I believe strongly that my store’s success is due to unfailing customer service, quality repairs and alterations, and a personal guarantee to fix things if they’re not quite right.
